ROSELLE

Village of the Roman period constructed on an Etruscan area. Half way the second part of the second century before Christ began the Roman control on the Etruscan people. They made villages, roads, bridges and ports. Some of the Etruscan villages (Roselle e Sovana) were saved and developed, others were burned and destroyed (Ghiaccio Forte a Scansano).
